Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information VincentCharleston.com collects, how it's used, and what choices you have. This site does not have user accounts, a comment section, or e-commerce functionality — the information below reflects the actual features on this site.

Information You Provide

Contact Form
When you submit the contact form, the information you enter (name, email address, and message) is sent directly to vincent@vincentcharleston.com via secure SMTP email delivery. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not added to any marketing list, sold, or shared with third parties.

Scheduling a Meeting
If you book a meeting using the calendar tool on the Contact page, that booking is handled directly by TidyCal, a third-party scheduling service. TidyCal collects the information you provide during booking (such as name, email, and meeting time) under its own privacy policy, available at tidycal.com. VincentCharleston.com does not separately store this information beyond what's visible in the resulting calendar confirmation.

Information Collected Automatically

This site does not use advertising trackers, third-party ad networks, or sell any data. Standard server-level logs (such as IP address and browser type) may be automatically recorded by the hosting provider for security and performance purposes, consistent with standard web server operation. This site does not currently use Google Analytics or similar visitor-tracking tools; if that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies present are limited to those required for basic site functionality (such as WordPress security cookies) and, where applicable, cookies set by the TidyCal booking widget to support its scheduling interface.

Downloads

The résumé (PDF) available in the site footer and Contact page can be downloaded without providing any personal information.

Email Delivery

Contact form submissions are routed through IONOS SMTP for reliable delivery to vincent@vincentcharleston.com. This is a delivery mechanism only — it does not store or process your information beyond transmitting the message.

Data Retention

Contact form messages are retained in the site owner's email inbox for as long as reasonably needed to respond to and maintain a record of the inquiry. You may request deletion of any correspondence at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

You may contact vincent@vincentcharleston.com at any time to:

  • Ask what information, if any, is held about you
